Different pigeon, that did happen in 2016.

Pigeoninho was Hughes first seasn as far as I remember, Bolton is springing to mind, could be wrong on that.

We’ve had some pigeons at the club, but my favourite was the original one.

That's definitely not 2016. We beat Villa 4-0 that day, with a Yaya trademark length of the field run and goal for 4-0.
Villa wore white and claret quartered shirts that day, in the Pigeoninho clip in this thread they're wearing yellow.

And as far as I can remember I was at every home game in 2015/6, and don't remember a pigeon, but I suppose it's possible I may have missed that game.

And I'm pretty sure the original was in Psycho's last season

I seem to be talking bollox there, that's 2014. Villa did wear yellow in 2016.
