If our dear old government had any balls, they'd have done the same.

So that’s two governments that have decreed there to be no sporting activity before September at the earliest. The Dutch league has been officially voided and it can’t be long before the French FA follow suit. The situation in Spain and Italy is not likely to be that much different. Not likely we will see a resumption of the CL or EL this season.
Can we be lone pioneers in completing our domestic season? Surely the writing is on the wall. All three journalists on the Sunday Supplement were in total agreement it can’t start any time soon while the social distancing measures are still in force and not likely to be rescinded any time soon

He’s advised not to restart this season and focus on preparing for next season. Brilliant.

Absolutely , they have a decent track record of being last to "react" to almost everything though so I wouldn't hold my breath pal .

That is wonderful news. If the season really gets written off then it's proven the gods hate the dippers (as any just god would).
This would be quite dispiriting to their whole club and I'd be very surprised if they are performing anywhere near the same levels next season. How lovely would it be if we go on to smash the league next year to win it 3 years in a row

All those records. Gone
The title. Gone
The invincibility. Gone
The incredible parade. Gone
The awards for Mane, Henderson or Van Dike. Gone
The +100 points target. Gone.
How is the situation in the city of Liverpool? Did anyone hear anything? Are they still alive?

Wonder what the "approved" locations will be
Well it won't be the Etihad, seeing as it's being put to good use.

Fern is in Brazil, Pep is in Spain. There’ll be tons of players not in the country - how do these tits expect teams to restart?
