Genuine question. Where’s this PL shit coming from
What have we done against them ? All I heard was the usual bitter nomark journos hoping we get fucked by waffa

I think there was some speculation by a PL board member (or possibly extrapolation from journalists) that *if* we were found guilty of the UEFA charges, there *could* be motivation for the PL to *possibly* look into bringing a case that *might* lead to punishment.

Make no mistake both sets of the red shite would be leading the clamour for the PL to add to any UEFA sanctions if the outcome went against us. Be interesting to see where this goes next domestically . We should definitely go after anyone and their media lackeys who attempt to drag our name down

Unfortunately we never seem to go after anyone. Tebas should be top of the list.

However I do have my doubts about Platini and how his 'errors' came to light

Hopefully a libel writ to the BBC from us might assist his comprehension. (can't link his Twitter direct - he's blocked me)

Unfortunately it does seem to mention "obstruction" in the CAS statement:

"considering i) the financial resources of MCFC; ii) the importance of the cooperation of clubs in investigations conducted by the CFCB, because of its limited investigative means; and iii) MCFC’s disregard of such principle and its obstruction of the investigations, the CAS Panel found that a significant fine should be imposed on MCFC and considered it appropriate to reduce UEFA’s initial fine by 2/3, i.e. to the amount of EUR 10 million."

Thanks PS, that's a blow - still obstructing an investigation based on stolen emails financed by Bayern, Rags, Dipper, Arsenal cash is understandable.

How does this improve our spending power Outcast? I know we will be able to attract players that wouldn't go to a team that is banned from the Champions League, but surely we are governed by the same restrictions we always were?

Ironically, enough NBA players and agents have been watching football and how players push to leave before their contracts are finished rather than wait to become a "free agent" so it still doesn't quite stop all of the "richest" and "best" or most popular clubs from accruing talent, but is more sensible than FFP which does not reward clubs for how well they manage their players as assets rather than whether they are winners in clandestine financial strategies or not at all and reliant on their past to earn revenues regardless of how well they do on the pitch.

They'll never bring in a wage cap. It goes totally against their agenda.
Despite all the shite talked about by players about CL football and being boyhood fans, it's all about wages.

I think City had every right to obstruct the UEFA investigation, seeing that carefully selected info was being given to carefully selected media, in order to damage the club.

The obstruction isn't an admission of wrongdoing, it's a statement that City have no faith in UEFA's governance or integrity.

City were well within their rights and also did not even attempt to hide the fact that they wouldn’t cooperate ANY LONGER when it became obvious UEFA already judged and sentenced us —- so what was the point in carrying on with the fucking charade ?!

The PL cannot do anything and after putting UEFA in the dummies corner I don’t think the PL will want to even try doing anything .

The obstruction bit is because MCFC told UEFA to fucking do one with the stolen emails. That piss poor “evidence “ never had a chance of standing up in a proper court . That former Belgian politician who UEFA hired to try and shaft us must be shitting himself now the useless bent cunt , I hope city sue the bent twat .

I can't see the PL bothering to take further action. They have their own rules and in theory could begin a separate examination, unless they are also time barred under their own rules, but I don't think they will, because:

  • We have shown we will fight and it will be a long and expensive process
  • They will have to get some better evidence than UEFA
  • By the time they do, it will all be so old no one but bitter rivals will care
  • Most of all, with the pandemic, they have much bigger worries about the commercial implications for this and next season than to want to start another unnecessary war

Vicious little cunt isn't he...loves using the word 'GRUBBY''.

He wants to be very careful what words he uses from now on to describe our club.

Never doubted City for a second - and a slap on the wrist for not cooperating with a corrupt institution 'out to get us' is competely acceptable in my book.
PS fucl UEFA.

I saw that, that is the second time this moron has used grubby as an adjective in a City article, he is another “they have got away with it” journo, what a prick, you would think the club would do something about these lies imbeciles like Herbert are writing.
