So selling 3 or 4 is actually needed.

I agree with this. Can see us having a CL hangover if we don't shake things up a bit.

Khaldoun pretty clear he wants a top quality replacement for Sergio. He seemed clear also another quality transfer was likely. Not clear what position. Left back? Defensive midfield?

A striker is a given surely. Got to be a left back unless we are planning on using Rodders furrher forward or we are getting shut. We spunked 60M on him and he was a Pep buy so doubt he is going anywhere

For the record I am not stalking you .... Rodders can be swapped for Trippier for me. Lots of reasons mainly for me he cannot run. Trippier like Walker is an athlete. Could not give a shit who he supports or who is 4th uncle removed supports. Get Grealish
We need his fuck you give me the ball, he would torment Kante. Haaland or Kane. If we go with the robotic play Pep has perfected with no personality, we all may as well accept Chelsea have our number and give them the title now. We need some bollocks, for all his nuttiness at the end. Saturday was the night a player like Yaya would have said nah I am not having this shit. Kante is to be admired, and I said sign the lad on a few occasions but we can see how a Mavericks grabs the night the ball the team and breaks the strangle hold. Foden Grealish would be that combo of I’m better than you and you will do the running we want you to do, Kante would have been a busy fool if we had more personalities.

No worries mate but doubt trippier would come back although i think he only went abroad to get away from the bother he was in. Not many athletes at full back about but we will be in for one.I don't see whar you see in grealush but hehas talent. Doubt we get 3 unkess we are offering swapsies but the interview suggested as much to me. Whatever the deals are, sort them now and let's crack on

My mum knew Kieran’s family and they were contacted when she passed. I also spoke with a family friend of there’s a couple of weeks ago - the plan for Trippier (or his dream) would be to end his career at United. He, and his family, are huge United fans. He won’t be coming here mate, and there’s no plan I’d imagine from City’s side to make that happen.

Please tell me reports linking us with Sergi Roberto of Barcelona is fictional? 29 year old midfielder plays at right back and injury prone! Can you imagine, we give them Aguero for free then get their injury prone cast offs!

Villa agree fee of £30m with add ons of a further £10m with Norwich for Argentinian winger Emiliano Buendia. A new club record transfer eclipsing the signing of Watkins from Brentford last summer

And there you go.. Trippier telling teammates he wants to join United. It was always his dream to end his career there.

I joust want a specialist LB. Not a conversion who when it matters is found out. Ziincs good lad is a very good player., but for me a weak link.

We need to sort that position out 100% Hazy. I’d say -
1. Striker
2. DM
3. LB
in that order this summer.

Might need more than that if the rumors are to be believed about possible and dots of certain players .

We will know soon enough .

Something has to give.
Khaldoon stated we will get the 'right' replacement for Kun and the club are interested in making two quality signings this summer.

We are interested in Kane, Haaland, etc... to replace Kun. We are interested in Grealish for midfield and Mendes for defence.

Price tags on Kane, Haaland, Grealish are +£120M
Mendes is £70M for a kid.

Khaldoon would know this before he did his interview.
We are not going to pay those prices and the other clubs do not need to sell.
Khaldoon is to smart to make public statements that he cannot fullfil.

I reckon a Kun replacement deal has been agreed and it is not one of the usual suspects?

So who could it be?

That is the thing right there. Kun's replacement can be either Haaland, either Kane, but they still need to fill big shoes.
Anyone else is not a replacement, but a small fix, a patch.

If you put your pessimism behind you for a moment or two Peter and emerge from your left over comfort zone of self pity because we are now only the 2nd best team in Europe.......
We have in recent years lost a number of irreplaceable World class superstars and actually replaced them quite well, whilst also improving our performances as a team.
YAYA in his his pomp, not only ably defended our defence but was used to great effect by Mancini towards the end of the of the 2012 campaign further up the field destroying opposotion defences.....Irreplaceable until Fernandhino.
ZABBA maybe wasn't the greatest full back, but his spirit, courage and effort were also irreplaceable. And though maybe not fully replaced, Walker has done more than a half decent job getting up and down that flank.
DAVID SILVA earned the name El Mago by his sheer skill and ability to unlock defences and his vision to seen the perfect pass. There will never be another Siva, yet with a few differences in his armoury, Our Phil Foden has covered that loss more than adequately.
KOMPANY was not only our players' leader, in fact our club's leader on and off the pitch. he too was irreplaceable until wer signed Dias ahead of all the other Worldie central defenders we were linked with and had to buy but didn't. This 4th or 5th choice defender turned out to be every bit as good a defender as Vinnie as well as being a leader on the field at a very young age. The honoured footballer of the year no less.

We have seen many young superstars hit the heights then fade, so Haarland, obviously a huge talent, though untired in the Prem may be the City target but he doesn't come with any guarantees. Notr does Kane, great scorer, tried and tested in the Prem but maybe a bit injury prone and no longer in the flush of youth. Kane comes at a. over inflated price but no guarantee.

So itmay be abiy silly to demand what you want like some child passing the ice cream counter but our record of replaceing irrepaceable superstars has been pretty decent in recent years.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT
