Actually whats more annoying than that is in 10-15 years we havent been able to bring through a solid back up full back from our academy.

Just a gut feeling .

The 22-year-old spent an impressive season on loan at Anderlecht in Belgium last year, scoring 21 goals in 41 appearances.
Hamburg-born Nmecha, who represented England at youth level, previously played for Wolfsburg during a loan spell in 2019-20.
He featured for City in the Carabao Cup and twice in the Premier League.
Heard the transfer fee is somewhere in the region of £12m which to me seems rather low considering he scored 21 goals in a half decent league last season. Hope there are add ons to this and a sell on clause if true

Patrick Roberts is a mystery. He was the most sought after London player. Cannot fathom how this lad has dropped off. He had every clubs scout at his door step.

They still have to get some high earners off their books though before he can officially sign.
But 5 years is madness. 50% of what he was on is still €60M a year. I reckon Barca will need to offload a few players on the cheap to fund this
He is 34 now isn't he.
Wow 60m euros when he is 37, 38 and 39! That is insane. Bewildering really.

Considering Haller and Joelinton both cost in excess of £40m and both came from Bundesliga where their respective goal returns were average if we are being kind, then £11m for a young guy who just scored 21, albeit in a slightly inferior league, is giving him away.
I doubt Roberts ended up costing us that though. It was more like £5m up front with add ons taking it upwards of 12m which he won't have activated.
Harrison is another give away. For an established PL player his fee is a joke

It will be Kane and/or Grealish or nothing.
If those deals are happening:
Kane will go to the last day of the window - Levy.
Grealish we should know (either way) long before then.
