Yes and it makes complete sense.
Hazy is making the point that the Rags, Liverpool and I will add Arsenal to that had a torrid time after successful managers left.
It could be similar for us. (Chelsea are the exception).

I know what you're saying but it's all to do with circumstances. Rags were a special case as the club was to all means and purposes a one man band with ol whisky nose making all the decisions. Arse were similar, except Wenger lost it at the end, and scouse just seemed content to bask in the glory of the past. It was the established order, rags winning the league, scouse and arse in CL places every year. All nice and cosy till some competition came along. The system could accommodate Chelsea so they were tolerated, but when we rocked up, five into four didn't go. Whisky nose knew the game was up and retired, Wenger outlived his welcome and scouse realised they'd have to invest or risk losing their guaranteed CL place.
I know this sounds like a history lesson and not particularly relevant but I believe it's the culture at these clubs that have caused their managerial problems.
City are much more like Chelsea but with more long term ambition.

I think Chelsea are not that different to us , ownership wise.

Both multi billionaires so they won’t be interested in selling for a few hundred million more than what they have put in ..
They both crave success and throw money at it till they get it .Chelsea the most successful out of the 2 of us so far.

I'm not sure how good is Pep in big games! We've beaten our rivals when they were depleted. Do you think Messi bailed him out in champion's league? I don't feel confident against Chelsea, vermins, even rags now they've strengthened. Don't get me wrong he's great at beating lesser teams and racking up points. It works in premier League but not sure in the champions League, it comes down stubnorness, complicates it, plays too open and not to mention epic selection brainfarts. Last year's pragmatic approach proved effective, question is why not have same approach in previous campaigns, just proves his stubnorness and some might say arrogance.
We will be fine when he leaves, we have strong foundations and a great squad.
