Scrolling down the list I notice we are paying a lot of lads aged 17 and 18 200-300k a year. Hardly any of these will ever play in the first team. Seems to me that a young lad would give his right arm to play for us and if we paid him 30k a year it would still be more than he would get in a regular job. That money could be better appropriated elsewhere
