Was thinking the same thing , I’m glad Fulham told the murderers where to stick their 8mill though

Danny Murphy on MotD focused on him saying he is going to be a dipper next season. Nothing really about us, you know, who actually won the game

Tapping him up aren't they ?

Yeah, he's a decent prospect - and no more - that will be hyped into something special when he joins the dippers but will never quite be what they say he is. I noted some childish gestures to the City fans when he scored. That worked out well for him - 2-1 down 10 minutes later. A lesson to learn here for you, son: he who laughs last laughs a lot fucking longer. And he looks like an Oompaloompa.

Glad Grealish did better second half. Foden did less so. McAtee and Delap looked good when they came on. Delap looks a handful already.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Don't know what you moan about, watched the game here with a well-known scouse commentator who called Fern Fabinho all game.

Incredible the level commentary reached worldwide. Full of impostors.

Did anybody in the South Stand upper tiers see that fat bellend of a Fulham fan lose his shit yesterday after they went 2-1 down yesterday? Proper funny as he tried to vault the railings between us and them and he splatted on to the concrete having failed to do so! Good performance from the lads and we looked better when Zinny came on for Cancelo who looked under par yesterday. Probably knackered from all the matches he has played lately.

One of the strangest games I’ve seen. On paper a dominant performance, but I left thinking we’d get cut up in the prem if we play like this again.
Tracking back is overrated.

I was quite impressed and surprised by Fulham's positive approach which showed no fear.

Reminded me of City's approach in our 1965 cup run.
Only a few months into the Mercer/Allison reign and topping Div2, our approach and atitude were similar. No fear, play our game and have a go. Maybe (more than) a few Prem teams over the last few seasons could learn from that when playing City instead of putting 11 men (frightened mice!) behind the ball.

That season we drew with a reasonably decent Blackpool (Div1) away, winning the replay at Maine Rd.
A run of the mill win at home to Grimsby.
Were losing 2-0 at HT at Maine Road to Leicester, another decent Div1 team with Gordon Banks in their goal. In the 2nd half we mullered 'em and drew 2-2.
It then took a very good Everton team 3 goes to finall overcome us. 0-0 at Maine Rd, 0-0 at Goodison and despite finally losing 0-2 at Molineux in the 2nd replay, we gave them one helluva game.

I enjoyed the City win (as always) but also enjoyed that Fulham came to play their own game with a very positive attitude and tried to win and made it a good game to watch
