He's got 10 caps for Ireland and he's still only 20. I'd hate to see him go to Southampton and not be their No1.

My kids have been asking me who Scott Carson is and why he does nothing at City. I say to them that he had a good career as a goalkeeper and is now semi retired.

Scott Carson gets the beer in .

He is a very rare talent. Has been number 1 at everywhere but here. If it was me I would pay him to stay and show him his path to the team. I love ED but he has faults which should be recognised and if he dips this lad should be ready to pounce.

He could be brilliant in training every day, he's not going to replace Ederson unless he has nightmare after nightmare and that ain't gonna happen.

You reckon if he’s performing better than Ed in training and when given his chances, that Pep would purposely choose not to play him?

The original point was that he could go on loan to someone in the Prem and sign a new deal with City. He’s getting first team football and building up his reputation at the same time. Doesn’t make sense to refuse a contract if he wants first team football - he could get that on loan.

To be honest mate i dont think he would. Pep chooses the senior players, every time.

I would do another thing. Give him for free to Soton, but they can't sell him for 4 years and after 4 years we insert a buy back clause that becomes active. Instead of winning 10 mil now we can give him 4 years where he wants and see if he is capable.
I love Eddie, but he saved close to fuckall this year.

Apparently we’ve told Barca €100m if they want Bern. Hope Bern’s Mrs doesn’t get her hopes up too much

Article was completely unreadable to me due to all the ads and pop ups - thought the MEN was meant to be a credible outfit

Why- he's the most used centre half in the team with the best defensive record with the most passes, best pass percentage, most blocks for a centre half and most goals for a centre half.

Also one of the most responsible for costing us big games in the CL .

Stats do not tell the whole story.
