They would have to explain the benefit from a business point of view, not from an "I'm from there, it's very special" point of view.
I don't buy it.
I would think this latest bullshit might result in words in the boardroom.
As a business, we are not benefiting from our relationship with barca.

You honestly think our Barca supporting hierarchy will go along with that ?
No chance .

I'd be very interested to see what our stance is now they've shown their hand.
Good of our friends at BBC/MUFC Sport to pick out that piece of clickbait for desperate rags to headline today's gossip section.salford city wrote:Dameerto wrote:carl_feedthegoat wrote:Original Dub wrote:Time for city to stop helping barca immediately

I see Madrids friends in the press have them already coming in for Haaland in 2 years presumably when they have the pot to piss in back. Fucking jokers.

Since the takeover, we have never sold a player we desperately wanted to keep.
They are the epitome of a stepping stone club, losing torres, sterling, suarez, coutinho, mane, winaldum and many more too I'm sure - not to mention even their golden child slippy g wanted to go to a bigger club.
They live in this weird little bubble, where they win countless trophies and everything means more.
It's all a bit sad really.
Actually no, it's fucking hilarious and long may it continue

The line of “we are a destination club” was truly laughable.
It was as if Dogleash had written the article himself.
They will challenge next year, but will ultimately likely come short again and once Salah goes next season for nothing and the midfield are all 30+ they will fall back and join the battle for the Wenger trophy
