Had a look on Sky Sports app to find the match report and there wasn't anything on there.
Have we been airbrushed out?

It seems like it, but Sky sports (well Europe anyway ) are showing a replay at 14.00 European time.

We did well to keep a clean sheet. I imagine Ake much happier playing alongside Ruben. Pep clear that Haaland not fully fit. Not clear he’ll start next Saturday. Seem to be indicating it might need full training till the West Ham game or even the Bournemouth game. Alvarez will clearly do fine if it comes to it. No injuries which is the main thing. Presumably the squad arrives tomorrow morning with full training on Tuesday.

Our shape in the first half was beautiful, add Foden and Gundo and Alvarez to the mix and we could be seeing the best team Manchester City have ever produced. There were glimpses and we made Bayern look like Watford for periods of the first half . The second half’s of these games always turn out different as players switch for game time and match fitness and the game gets a bit messy . That was some first half performance though despite the break .

I would have to agree with that. Ignore the first few weeks of the season for fine tuning but when it all clicks we are going to be fucking unstoppable this season. Can't wait!

The WC is the big unkown for us. We are going to have more players away than any ither prem team so we need to have a couple of the youngsters step up. Agree with the sentiment though with the added firepower i do think someone is going to cop a fucking drubbing

Haaland at least is not playing in the World Cup so will get a mid season break. Liverpool will have most of their players playing there won’t they?

Palmer is fantastic IMO , never gets more than a few minutes but what he shows in those minutes is that he’s not scared to showcase his skills .

Great at robbing the ball as well .

Mahrez isn't, either. I think that's it from the main squad, though.

For Liverpool, Keita, Salah and Diaz, plus a few who probably won't get England call-ups.

World Cup is the same for everyone. Best thing for us is that Southgate is a clueless manager totally out of his depth and England will be home early . Portugal on the other hand I fancy to go a long way in the searing heat of the Middle East so that could be a problem for us .

England have played the maximum number of games physically possible at the last two international tournaments in which they have played. That hasn't happened to any other international team in the world.

(edit: actually, it has: Senegal in AFCON 19 & 21)

Dis Spain not win 3 tournaments in a row 2008-2012?

Euros 2008
World Cup 2010
Euros 2012

Surely they played the maximum number of games?

I think France also won a WC in 98, followed by the 2000 Euros...

"Last two" is the main phrase here. No team has played as many games in the last two international tournaments as England, so I wouldn't say Southgate being manager is any guarantee of going home early. However, France in 2002, following '98 and '00, shows nothing's guaranteed, I suppose...
