Wouldn't it just! Good result under the circumstances.

Have we been airbrushed out?

There were glimpses and we made Bayern look like Watford for periods of the first half . The second half’s of these games always turn out different as players switch for game time and match fitness and the game gets a bit messy . That was some first half performance though despite the break .

I would have to agree with that. Ignore the first few weeks of the season for fine tuning but when it all clicks we are going to be fucking unstoppable this season. Can't wait!

The WC is the big unkown for us. We are going to have more players away than any ither prem team so we need to have a couple of the youngsters step up. Agree with the sentiment though with the added firepower i do think someone is going to cop a fucking drubbing

England have played the maximum number of games physically possible at the last two international tournaments in which they have played. That hasn't happened to any other international team in the world.
(edit: actually, it has: Senegal in AFCON 19 & 21)

Dis Spain not win 3 tournaments in a row 2008-2012?
Euros 2008
World Cup 2010
Euros 2012
Surely they played the maximum number of games?

I think France also won a WC in 98, followed by the 2000 Euros...
