What about Jardel when he went to Bolton.

I recall Thomas Brolin being a fat little barsteward by the time he signed for Leeds. Other than that, from my lifetime I'd say Andy Morrison, Neil Ruddock, Jan Molby and DEFINITELY lower league journeyman Lee McEvilly. I saw him play in a Rochdale vs. Wrexham fixture about three or four years ago and he had actual tits. The fatty could finish though.

he was absolutely woeful when he went there. his scoring record at previous clubs was unbelievable though.

Yet another Brazillian that seemed to fizzle out before they're 30!
Look at his record before and after Bolton.. It went from one of the best you have seen, to one of the worst!! Hardly at the highest level of football though..

Was he quite a big lad Ted?
Obviously a little before my time (He finished his City career when I was 1 years old) so I didn't see much of him on the pitch only what i've seen in old film
Not at first but he went through a period later when he had a little bit of a gut growing but the weight was on his arse & his little chubby legs poked out of his short shorts like a very large baby.

Thread over I'm afraid:o(
William 'Fatty' Foulkes, the Bradford and Sheffield United keeper. A 6ft 4in beast who weighed in at 24 stone, one of the least athletic looking people you are ever likely to lay your eyes on even played for England in 1897. The original fat cnt who ate all the pies by the look of him.

As soon as I saw this thread I thought of that fat fucker prancing about in a Bolton shirt against us. One of the funniest things I
ever saw at a match.

That was one of the funniest crowd piss takes at any football match I have ever been to. Plus we won 6-2 I think and we were home and dry when he came on which made the crowd focus on him cos the match was in the bag.
Can't believe the photo even has him doing the mincing with his hands, quality find
