Arteta is a wanker.
The ref either lost control or was to order.
The ref can book players early on, why not with Everton?
Arsenal didn’t quite have the attack to get through.
Newcastle are a solid team with plenty of motivation.
Sky are full of wankers.
Arteta is a nonce wanker.

Time to take advantage.

I dare to go one week without mentioning the ref.

There’s plenty of games where I’ve praised the ref, plenty where I’ve not. You tend to pick and choose when you quote me so I’ll ask you your thoughts on the same ref booking Newcastle players early while not bothering in our game; a direct comparison?

However, good to see you agree with all the rest ;-)

don't worry.

Good that they shared a draw

We don't need the arse and the red shit up there. Gives us a gee up going to Chelsea and then the redshit next up in the league

Spurs next for Arsenal. A derby is a derby, should be a tough one for Ars even though Spurs are playing crap.
Hard to know which of the two managers is the biggest dickhead, two wankers.

Newcastle are very frustrating to play against, I do not like the way they feign injury, waste time and generally act like complete cnuts.

Newcastle are cheats and Madley was awful tonight.

However , a draw , for us was the best result.

As for Arteta , shocking how he thinks he can behave like a headless chicken.

Still, we have a series of important games coming up, if we come through January , win after win. I think we will do well.

Re Everton game, i think Pep was trying to save his best guns for the next set of games.

Two Chavs ,Soton, Rags , Spuds and Wolves.

one game at a time though

‘One game at a time, though.’

As we’ve seen, football is a funny old game. Tonight was always going to be a big game knowing how the 2 teams have played and I’d say that tonight was a fair result.

For the rest of the season, which is still long, time will tell how much pressure we will put on. We know what it takes but we will also see where our priorities lye.

Mental strength, attitude and togetherness will be key imo.
Last season the players were amazing the way they kept going after the trauma of RM, the injury list and the early quadruple coronation of the Dippers.
We have the same core group of players plus Haaland, Alvarez, Akanji, Rico, Philips and Gomez (minus Zinch, Jesus and Sterling).

IMO we can go again and come out on top but we do need to iron out the blips asap.

We will need our players to pull everything out of the bag and somebody to step-up and become a real leader. When Kompany moved on, we lost something in the dressing room. This time around we have lost Fern, another huge loss that can be the difference.

I think a few people mentioned at the start of the season that this would be an 'off year' for Liverpool. I'm pretty sure there was a blog posted on here a couple of years back that mentioned asthma/caffeine doping follows a pattern: 2 good years, 1 bad year, 1 good year, 1 bad year. Obviously, new squad members coming in amortize peaks and troughs of squad performance a bit (I wonder if Nunez, Gakpo et al. have been diagnosed as asthmatic yet?), but there's an overall decline in the effectiveness of the doping tactic in the long term.

I remember that blog - before the 20/21 season I think.
Somebody predicted a bad season for Liverpool and explained why - they were spot on.
Liverpool finished the season with 5 games in 15 days and won them all. Looked like a season end inhaler top up to make the CL.

Looks like they used up all the inhalers last season going for the quadruple or as the media say '...only two games short of immortality...'
This season I read somewhere that their running stats are way down and they have a lot of injuries.
That is all I need to know. The same players cannot cover the same distances and they are getting injured.
I think I am correct in saying the same pattern as 20/21. Lots of injuries and less intensity in open play.

Aside from the above, it looks to me like the Klopp era is petering out.
His carefully cultivated image is being exposed as fake, the media have started to question him, teams know how to hurt Liverpool and are no longer afraid of them but most importantly his players look like they don't believe he is the messiah anymore and FSG will not give him the money to replace them.
I cannot see him turning this around and I hope it is a long painful victim driven parting.
(i could be wrong though, maybe Nunez will start banging them in as the media keep telling us, Salah will be his old self.....)
