Today's incidents are a disaster for the game , for the PL . OK , we were cheated, but everybody around the world can see that there is something going on in the PL. How a Referee can allow this to happen is disgraceful to say the least. A clear penalty on Haarland, some daft ex Irish pro on the Sky stream i had said that was Haarland kicking Casemiro ffs , he was in control of the ball , set it up and was shooting at goal - clear infringement from Casemiro.
Actually, i remain convinced , we will still win the league, mainly because the competition isn't good enough.
Once we went ahead, i am surprised Pep didn't bring on Alvarez for Mahrez and Gündo for Cancelo, because Cancelo was average again even failing to play to
Foden and losing the ball himself or making bad passes .
1. Yes decisions are often contentious because game after game, season after season, Rags and scouse2 get corrupt decisions in their favor (it never changes despite the outrage)
2. Today's incidents are
NOT a disaster for the game or for the PL. They are consistent, glaringly obvious and taken in high profile games for a long time now. If anything the decisions are becoming more blatant, they are actually getting worse. Today's goal would not have been given 3 seasons ago.
Yet the money train keeps on rolling towards the PL. Corrupt decisions have no effect on this.
3. We will
NOT BE ALLOWED win the league. City have no chance if they push the Rags (or Arsenal) like they did today. If they give the Rags a 'goal' like today in a high profile, top of the table game, live on TV with a massive global audience, they will have no issue giving them whatever is needed in any other game.
Substitute MU for Liverpool and we have a repeat of 2019/2020. That is what is happening, in plain sight, PL not even bothering to hide it, just like 2019/20.
