Pep said he’s not arsed about the league anyway because he’s won it a fuck loads of times. He said it was offside.

Keith Hackett has confirmed it was offside.

Dermot Gallagher has said it was offside.

Ten Vage has said it was offside and he’d be pissed off if we’d scored that goal and it be allowed to stand.

Akanji has said it was a joke of a decision.

Mase, the whole World have said it is a joke of a decision.

Why aren't there Riots in the streets ?

A Referee pulling the stunt he did today, in Argentina , would be taken down a back alley and pummled , in Columbia would be shot , in Mexico hung up like a Pinatas

So, leaving the offside aside, which all are agreed with on MotD, then it was a great performance from them.

I really do give up and that’s why I was only watching other games to see how corrupt it was. Other games have gone now, I’ll stick to just ours now.

Today's incidents are a disaster for the game , for the PL . OK , we were cheated, but everybody around the world can see that there is something going on in the PL. How a Referee can allow this to happen is disgraceful to say the least. A clear penalty on Haarland, some daft ex Irish pro on the Sky stream i had said that was Haarland kicking Casemiro ffs , he was in control of the ball , set it up and was shooting at goal - clear infringement from Casemiro.

Actually, i remain convinced , we will still win the league, mainly because the competition isn't good enough.

Once we went ahead, i am surprised Pep didn't bring on Alvarez for Mahrez and Gündo for Cancelo, because Cancelo was average again even failing to play to
Foden and losing the ball himself or making bad passes .

1. Yes decisions are often contentious because game after game, season after season, Rags and scouse2 get corrupt decisions in their favor (it never changes despite the outrage)
2. Today's incidents are NOT a disaster for the game or for the PL. They are consistent, glaringly obvious and taken in high profile games for a long time now. If anything the decisions are becoming more blatant, they are actually getting worse. Today's goal would not have been given 3 seasons ago.
Yet the money train keeps on rolling towards the PL. Corrupt decisions have no effect on this.
3. We will NOT BE ALLOWED win the league. City have no chance if they push the Rags (or Arsenal) like they did today. If they give the Rags a 'goal' like today in a high profile, top of the table game, live on TV with a massive global audience, they will have no issue giving them whatever is needed in any other game.

Substitute MU for Liverpool and we have a repeat of 2019/2020. That is what is happening, in plain sight, PL not even bothering to hide it, just like 2019/20.

Point3. disagree with you.

City were just a little cautious in the first half because we know how VAR works at the swamp. Remember the speed with which Oliver gave the penalty against Jesus ?

Btw ,the back line was two yards ahead of Rashford and both were stationary. Penandes was also moving forward , this gave Akanji and Walker little chance to recover the yards , which were even more than two as the defenders set off.

The lino flagged it . Atwell and Oliver overruled it . Both should be suspended from refereeing.

Ten Bobs master stroke was to get eleven men behind the ball for the entire game , objective ? not to lose. Just like other teams do . Chelsea did the same , strangely enough no VAR controversy.

Foden has had a lot of stick, but Bernardo has been just as bad. He gets away with it though because it’s loveable Bern.

The guy doesn’t want to be at City and hasn’t for years. Just fuck him off and get a replacement in.

I am very disappointed by Pep’s post match reaction about this is Anfield and Old Trafford etc and also - Pep Guardiola: "Today we performed. Now, don't be distracted what happened in the first goal, focus on Spurs in a few days..."

It sends out again a wrong message: fuck us, we will bend over again.

But what really got to me was that I read that Walker, Grealish and Akanji went after Atwell on the tunnel. But what were the rest doing? Kevin, Gundo? Our first two captains? Ederson, or he is only with Mane like that?
Go all of you ffs and demand a response. What will they do to you? Suspend the whole squad?

Maybe this contentious decision will spur on the players for rest of the season. If they were looking for a moment to inspire them, this injust decision should galvanise them, get that fire in the bellies and push on.

When you get screwed over like we did Saturday, rashford did interfere with play as he followed the balls direction. Then there is something corrupt in this country. The rags didn't get a sniff after we scored and once that decision was taken it was a given they would win.
Pep should have shut up shop soon as we scored Silva off and solidify the midfield.
Spurs is a huge game now anything but a win and it's pretty grim

I was talking about what you said about Oliver giving a pen against the rags after Jesus had a challenge in the first minute.
Weren’t you talking about the one in 2021 when they won in our home?

If so, it was Anty, 100%

I disagree. Pep's message to the squad is, take it on the chin, get on with it, life is not fair, don't feel sorry for yourself, focus on the next game and hit them where it hurts by winning the next game and the PL.
Privately I bet he says to the players, that the club will do the fighting, off camera, with the powers that be.

Will we ever see a settled back 4 ?
Akanji was caught out many times with him being out of position , two or 3 times we had 2 defenders against 3 with Akanji trying to get back from no man’s land - he shouldn’t be a starter in the back 4 IMO .

We are not winning anything with an unsettled back 4 , 100% we are not .
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Great point.
It is so corrupt at OT that we cannot play our normal game and have to factor this into our tactics. Yet another reason why rational discussion and analysis on yesterday's game (tactics) is a complete waste of time. We start of playing with one hand tied behind our backs. Same at Anfield. Just look at the anomalies like number of penalties given against the home team at OT and Anfield.
Actually, during Ferguson's time, there were reasons given for the number of late goals and penalties given. Teams were tired because MU attacked so much and MU played so much of the game in the opposition penalty area
Even last season after another outrageous decision in Liverpool's favor against us, the narrative was, you don't get those decisions at a passionate Anfield, the crowd are like a 12th man

Yeah, but take it to the chin until the next time it happens again.
I am tired of that mate

14 years without a league penalty against them is a travesty.
