I guess that depends on what his next career choice is? If he wants to go down the pornhub(whatever that is), route it may be a prerequisite.

BBC TV football coverage has the biggest opportunity to revise it's format and introduce some new faces if that is what is wanted. Found myself for perhaps the first time ever, liking one of Simon Jordan's tweets and his opinion on Linekergate. Quite a decisive topic but essentially he's become a bit of a twat over the last few years and i'd be glad to see the back of him. I find it amusing that if he was spouting and anything remotely right of centre, he would have been sacked long ago

Whether you agree with what he said or not, it's a sad situation when any person gets hauled over the coals for expressing a personal opinion.
Free speech anyone.

Agreed. People like Tommy Robinson by what you’re saying are allowed their “free speech” as well though, yes?

What about extremist? Are they allowed to throw their views about?

Perhaps comparing the government with the most evil regime of the 20th century is crossing a line. Ever heard of kristallnacht, ever heard of the Holocaust? Go figure

Seemingly the Devil is in the details.
Stupid stupid tweet by Lineker, trivializing the Holocaust. Seemingly, his past tweets caught up with him, he had been warned by the BBC over previous (re)tweets. Previously, the BBC had received complaints from lawyers representing Israel, over Lineker's retweet of critism of shooting dead of a promising footballer by Israeli soldiers (omitted was the additional information that the footballer was a member of Hamas and was shooting at Israeli soldiers when shot).
BBC warned Lineker but he ignored that with his latest rediculous tweet, if the Govt were Nazis, (no anti establishment tweets would be allowed).

Yet again, ego overtakes intelligence. Gary Neville is headed the same way. Stick to football and don't get involved in stuff you don't understand.

The pundits supporting Lineker are showing themselves up to be just as entitled as he thinks he is imo.

His tweet was hate speech - comparing nazi Germany in the 30s where they went in to murder million of Jews to our current government will Create hate amongst the population here but will most certainly be swept under the carpet by the leftie mob .
Can you imagine if the boot was on the other foot !!!!???

Fucking UK - it’s ruined beyond repair .

I find it interesting that the far left are stating - “he wasn’t comparing the two, he was just saying the language is similar” I’m sure it’s the same people that said Trump’s campaign speeches sounded like Nazi Germany.

Lineker knew what he was doing and he’s done it before. The BBC got bored of it after warning him other times.

I wonder if the Labour Party would be quite so supportive of big ears' freedom of expression as a TV football pundit if he had slagged off Starmer as a union patsy & pronounced them unfit to govern.

Get used to it. The next UK Government will be Labour. The Tories have even screwed their most ardent supporters over . They are finished..

Btw , although i come from Hulme in Manc and am very proud of it, i take no joy in seeing how poor the UK has become.

What a weird cult we have in here.

Fucking hell, are people saying that Lineker is wrong for standing up for refugees who have nowhere to go whilst this government uses language akin to what led to the biggest travesty ever?

Glad I walked into this pub, who fucking wants some?
