Free speech anyone.
Perhaps comparing the government with the most evil regime of the 20th century is crossing a line. Ever heard of kristallnacht, ever heard of the Holocaust? Go figure
Seemingly the Devil is in the details.
Stupid stupid tweet by Lineker, trivializing the Holocaust. Seemingly, his past tweets caught up with him, he had been warned by the BBC over previous (re)tweets. Previously, the BBC had received complaints from lawyers representing Israel, over Lineker's retweet of critism of shooting dead of a promising footballer by Israeli soldiers (omitted was the additional information that the footballer was a member of Hamas and was shooting at Israeli soldiers when shot).
BBC warned Lineker but he ignored that with his latest rediculous tweet, if the Govt were Nazis, (no anti establishment tweets would be allowed).
Yet again, ego overtakes intelligence. Gary Neville is headed the same way. Stick to football and don't get involved in stuff you don't understand.
The pundits supporting Lineker are showing themselves up to be just as entitled as he thinks he is imo.
