Apart from the few days of the international break he has been on a month long party. Presumably he has to report back for preseason, hopefully he'll be sober by then.

He’s allowed to do whatever he wants for the next few weeks. Just because our media have a hardon for him and follow him around like weirdos doesn’t mean we should buy into the nonsense they publish.

Yes provided he turns up for pre season in reasonable shape he can do what he likes. Hopefully that will be the case.

Surely the players know you fuck with Pep and come back unfit your minutes will seriously drop.
If that’s true about Kalvin saying what he did I’m amazed he’s not looking for a new club now

He trains in Greece for a week at the end of every summer, so I imagine he’ll be doing the same this summer just before he comes back.

That maybe but the media frenzy and attention is making him millions, he can't complain. He's getting lucrative contracts off that attention, I bet he loves it. Anyway, I don't care what he does, drinking or Dolly fiddling, as long as he returns fit, that's all it matters to me.

A leak from it is him questioning Pep’s decision to say he was overweight after coming back from the WC.

"For me, I wasn't overweight, but obviously the manager has seen it in a very different way," said Phillips.

One way to make sure you never play for Pep.

I didn't see his comments as being negative towards the manager. I think the wider context of the snippet is slightly less controversial. Guardiola called him out publicly as overweight which was inaccurate. The issue wasn't about weight, it was body fat % in which case his comments are perfectly understandable - he wasn't overweight, his composition was just off expectations slightly.

Interesting, that’s not what Aguero has said. He mentioned after Pep said Phillips was overweight that you have to be within a certain kg range and even if you’re 0.1kg over what you top end is then Pep classes you as “overweight”.

Clearly Phillips isn’t overweight. But from what I’ve read he was 3kg over his top marker, so Pep would class him as “overweight”

I think PeP just wants to ensure that every aspect of his 'discipline work book' is part and parcel of his players mindsets, with zero deviation - being 0.anything 'overweight' means nothing and wont affect fuckall performances one iota.

Its all about doing what he says you must do to be part of the team.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

Just heard Sophie Ridge on Sky announce Man City have a £5bn team - Arsenal currently top of PL squad value table with £1.2bn. Never ending lies.

Very much doubt it

But it's this sort of exposure that will generate more interest in City globally and further increase revenues. I guess that what happens when you have one of the worlds best and most recognisable players

Funny If the media was real, it would be asking what’s wrong with the scums sale. How can two mega wealthy groups not get a deal done? What’s in the details the bones of it that both don’t like. The media the Premier League all say 0. Even rags I know say the same the devil will be in the details. The Glaziers must have cooked the books as they’ve spent nothing of their own money. The ground the training ground are they were 35yrs ago.

Good points.

Though it could simply be the Glazers are either very greedy or actually don't intend to sell and are using the proposed sale to drive up the share price so they can borrow more money against it

Either way, they are still regressing and this window is showing this big time

Couldn’t imagine Lee Bradbury on the front cover back in the day. What a journey
