I think people forget how bad we were in Pellers last season. We got 66 points losing 10 games and scraped into the CL in 4th place on GD.
Going to be a nightmare replacing him.

Arsenal got 89 points this season with Arteta as manager. Any reason why we can’t find an Arteta to take over after Pep?

Pep's got over 90 practically every season. Arteta has 1 FA Cup in 5 years, He's done well but there's a big difference between that and what we've had.
My point is there's hardly any names out there, Alonso who's probably Madrid bound- other than that who is there.

No reason at all.
And as a club we are in a far better position in 2024 than we were a decade ago. Financially and on the pitch as well. We are by far the most successful club in England in the last decade and as such our gravitas will dictate we will have managers approaching us. And compare that to the rags where over the past month eligible managers have distanced themselves from the job
But it isn’t going to be easy to replace Pep when it comes to it. He is the best there is, so the next guy isn’t going to be an upgrade. The rags and Arsenal both struggled after successful managers left. The dippers will also likely see a drop off in their performance.
The right appointment and we continue to dominate, but the wrong appointment could see a period of indifference. But as it goes, I think Pep stays on a bit longer

You specifically used the fact Pellers got 66 points. It’s the silly “let’s get Fat Sam in” argument again, as if he’s the only manager in the world.
Arteta would have two league medals if it wasn’t for Pep.

I specifically used that because of what Pep walked into.
Martin Samuel in his article seems pretty convinced there's going to be a downturn when he leaves as well.
Ole would have a league medal if not for Pep too.
