Don't get me wrong, these last 15 years have been beyond our wildest dreams, as we all support our team hoping we will one day win the league, the champions league - more in hope than expectation. But once we got there I have to admit I found it all a bit 'meh'
I found myself really conflicted during the Mancini era before I moved away from Manchester, to the point that the year before we won the league I took a break from attending games for a few months.....as magical as it was watching players like Silva and Toure, the predictability of how we played and overpowered teams, took my enjoyment out of the game.
The first 4 years under pep were entertaining, but bar the odd game, I haven't found city to be particularly entertaining to watch now for a couple of seasons, and rarely make the effort these days to stay up late due to the time difference to watch the game midweek. In fact it wasnt until about 11am this morning that I remembered City had even played last night.
I don't think we're ungrateful, I just think as we on this board and as a population of fans collectively get older we long for the days when watching City was an important part of our social lives in our formative years, and I think I echo Mase when I hark back to the days in my teens and twenties when watching city home and away was part of who I was, the adventure, the unknown, the laughs.
I can genuinely take it or leave it these days - perhaps part of it is that I moved away from Manchester, but I think even if I was still there, I don't think I would have kept my season ticket on despite all the success.

100%
Since last Xmas you can count on one hand the number of games I’ve seen 20 or more minutes of that haven’t featured us. And that includes International games
I simply have lost interest and even just two years of always watch the Sunday games and most of the Saturday lunchtime and teatime games and probably midweek as well.
I don’t miss it at all.
My biggest fear is I lose interest in City and stop caring.

Too many games.
What's seldom is wonderful!
I remember when I was younger thinking the summer dragged by because it was off season.
Now there's probably not even a 3 week break.
It's pathetic

The influence Guardiola has had on football as a whole has been mental when you look at how football is played now vs 10 years ago, but I don't know if it's part of what we feel is ruining football.
Every fucker wants to play possession based football like a game of chess. I think City under pep took things to such an insane level of quality, I find it really frustrating now watching other teams play - realising how poorly drilled other teams are, I now resent 'professionals' making silly misplaced passes, rushing in possession, not having awareness of whats around them on the pitch - I find it really hard work for example watching England, they just look amateur in comparison to what we've been treated to.
I don't know if Pep's way has caused football to stagnate - but honestly despite the fact Klopp was a cunt, at least his brand of football being a bit more cavalier makes games watchable, but now that's gone, for me the Premier league is getting close to unwatchable.

But cmon it’s Derby day nothing changes shit or reigning champions. If you want to go back in time. Crack on shit is not for me and a tenner it would not be for you within a month.
Carl you say the away support is better than the home support. That’s true 100%. What you are wrong about is the fans are following City through passion and love of the club Pep and the team. having great time doing it.
It’s Derby day shit or not it’s the cunts at home. Let’s beat them and enjoy it.
