Yep!!
I like Kusanov. Marc Guhei is a proven defender 24 years of age, Mate. For me no brainier.

Savio is 21, I read somewhere that is the same age Salah was when he was let go from Chelsea.
I don't think he has been as bad as some are making out. Nowhere near his prime and has time to improve.

Interesting development if true, however, I think it would be very unlikely they’d conduct a meeting like that at the stadium

How anyone can say PeP is city through and through is thinking with his or her blue tinted fucking specs on.

He is and always will be Barcelona through and through ( for fucks sake !!)...Catalans never ever 2 time their clubs from where they are from and I have zero problem with that ( even if I do have a dig about it now and again when he plugs in Messi and/or Barcelona every other pre and post match post)

PeP is currently LOYAL to man city as we pay him 25 million big ones a year to be loyal !!! and on top of that the board allow him carte blanche to do as he pleases...This is why he is still fucking here...fuckall to do with 'loving City' !!

The ONLY people who love city are us.......we get no salary for it....we just love our club.

You do realise Simeone earns more than him. I'm sure he'd have been on a few Euros at Barcelona but still left them after 3 years.

Well i did write that i think pep is City through and through .

Carl, he is the manager. The most successful manager city have had.

People going on about Enrique, tom waits over at Atleti, mr brylcreem at Villa. All good.
Their records of success don't match Peps.

Mate - I’ve seen nothing this season that tells me pep will change and adapt - other managers did and that’s why we have been raped over this season by muppet teams - if pep had at least tried to fucking change and adapt then I’d be fucking Happy to have him here next year , but as I’ve said , we have seen copy and paste by him all bastard season long and I just think he’s not capable of changing - and in the world of football you need to keep up .

Pep hasn’t imo so no , I honestly am not positive having him here next season.

The trouble is, we’ve been so good over the last few seasons it’s been us setting the pace and like every front runner the pack eventually catches up and overtakes. This happened very early this season and it seems that there has been no attempt from Pep to address it in spite of the obvious missing ingredients. We’ve regressed so much I’m not sure what difference Rodri or Bobb are going to be able to make. Cue the summer transfer window.

Last time Pep had as bad a season as this we ended up centurions the following season. I've already said that I think he will be seething at this season and want to come out firing next year.

I'm excited to see it.

Yep, but that summer we had a fantastic transfer window: Bernie, Eddie, Walker and another one, can't remember exactly who.
If he get's the right transfers, and that is a big IF based on what happened in the winter window.

Come on guys and girls. This is Pep we are talking about. We are spoilt. But please don't be like the muppets supporting the rags. I am certain he can rebuild the team and push again for glory.

Pisses me off when I hear comments like we're spoilt and getting like the red shit. I don't consider myself spoilt having a manager whose on north of £25M who has had the luxury of having his every whim given to him. Has he delivered fuck yes, but he's been able to have the best in every position. The test has been this year and he's failed massively. If we don't get chumps league, I'll be surprised if we don't show him the door, our owners are far from stupid, they trusted his judgement last summer when he convinced them to stick with his ageing squad. They definitely won't make the same mistake again

Who said he convinced them?

There has been a joint admission that they didn't act, that they thought they could get another year - but I don't believe for a minute the club would have spaffed 17 years of exceptional stewardship uip the wall and make a mistake like delaying investment in the squad, not least on on the say so of a manager whose contract was expiring - and not least when we're swimming in a massive PSR excess for several years now.

The club would not have delayed investment in the squad unless there was a good reason, and there are potentially a few obvious ones:

1: A potential concern about the implications of the PL charges
2: Top targets nervous about the implications of the charges for their career
3: General lack of quality for the positions we needed to fill
4: A reluctance to commit to certain personnell if Pep wasn't committed to staying

The club have not missed a step in 17 years, and I'm definitely giving them a pass on this one in terms of their MUST be good reasons why this was allowed to happen. And the fact we went pretty hard in January AFTER the case was underway and AFTER pep signed a 2 year extension, to me is are further clues that all parties (us and potential targets) were waiting to see which way the wind was blowing.

Sometimes 'shit just happens' and circumstances conspire in business to mean you can't do what you wanted at the time you wanted to - I'm fairly sure this is all that's happened here.

Brilliant post mate. Some fans can’t take criticism - as fans we put a lot of money into the club, we’re allowed to say when things aren’t going well.

Ironic the “you’re just like a rag” by fellow blues - a bit embarrassing reading stuff like that.

The thing is he spent 70 mil in the winter for two defenders (who I think have potential and seem like decent blokes) and he is not playing them.
He also paid another 100 mil for Omar and Nico, who, at the moment do not look like they are world beaters.

So, should you give him that kind of money in the summer?
I am fifty fifty because if he misses, we are fucked.
