Most footballers are thick
Some are really thick
Walker is a village idiot. And if all the village idiots around the country got together for a convention, he'd win

No one seems interested in Grealish, and I’d imagine that’s because of his outrageous £300k-a-week salary.
I suspect it’ll end up being a loan deal — which, in my opinion, is a terrible idea.

Exactly. Especially if as likely we are subsidising his wages. We then may as well keep him because you never know with injuries or if we had a managerial change.
It's then up to Grealish to decide to stay or move permanently elsewhere on presumably a lower wage to facilitate such a move. The choice is his

I remember at one point John Stones was totally out of favour and it was pretty much guaranteed as gone. He ended up getting lucky and getting a run of games, started a great partnership with Dias and reached his expected potential culminating in a staring role in the treble winning team. (He's another that's disappeared off the face of the earth since mostly due to being made of glass).
I'm desperately hoping for a similar tale of redemption for Grealish but think that's even more unlikely unfortunately
