My question isnt will enzo play enzo.

Question is does enzo get into our best 11 currently. Im not sure.

Me neither.

Is he better than Enzo? Yes. Can we rely on both to track back and cover against top opposition - No.
Would we all be happy with a season of we will play both and in 'most' games outscore the opposition and get a couple of dickings in the bigger games - particularly the latter stages of chumps league - don't think we would. Be entertaining though!

My main point is that IF/WHEN we start Bouaddi and Anderson, the set up will result as solid and strong as to afford anyone on the 3 creative roles behind the Viking (particularly if/when Maresca will see the light on the Diaz issue)

I get that but if we stick with four at the back, in your setup (mine too), eventually, that still only leaves one no.10 as Enzo is set on two wingers. Yes, Cherki could drop wide but I don't see that in Enzo's'ideal' formation.

Right. And don't you think that's enough firepower (rethorical question)?
I mean, let's not underestimate the pivotal importance of Bouaddi, whose natural ability to see the game and always be in the right place at the right time would allow Anderson to be more box to box involved in the attacking face. Afterall, Maresca original tactics is all about open up spaces for the midfielders/playmakers to get into the box.
Also (theoretically) we have in O'Reilly and Nunes not exactly 2 FBs from the 60s.

Totally agree thar Bouaddi is our long term no.6 and that would allow Anderson to venture further up In games against weaker opposition. We need to work on getting Bouaddi involved as much as possible to get him fully up to speed. Against Norwich he was caught out a couple of times but Anderson wasn't on the pitch to help him out. Be interesting to see what Maresca does after this break if he has a full squad to pick from.

As you rightly pointed out, the most important thing is to not leave Anderson (or Bouaddi) alone and crucified like the Lord.
