I am thinking, why don't we just fire a manager everytime we lose? Make it simple, you stay as long as you get a win or a draw. But nor more than 3 draws in a row, and then you are gone. And then we can bring in a new manager, maybe even bring in celebrities. How about Gordon Ramsay one match, offer a free cooking lesson at half-time, or maybe Jonathan Ross, and maybe at half-time he can interview Colin Bell.
FFS people, how much better a name are we going to get? Who is going to be able to come to a club that is not in the CL that is bigger than Mancini (who as another poster said was not using "his" players)? Give him a full summer transfer window and a full season. Look at the big clubs (outside of Chelsea and their fickle owner) and the continuity of managers. Hell look at Villa, O'Neill has been there for a while, why is there so much turnover at City? Who the fuck would want this job? It is not like the prestige of Chelsea (yet), so who wants to be hired to be fired 6 months later? Unless the Special One is coming, fucking move on there is nothing to see here, and go from there.
I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass... and I am all out of bubblegum.
