Maybe not having Gomez was definitely the reason that Spurs lost against Burnley. I think that's a fact.
I think it's probably a certainty.

Once Ars went 3-0 up really quick they had zip to play for; if they had needed that game Gomes woulod have played, end of.
I echo the senitiments of Doug and Slim and do wonder about the sanity of some others on here.
Okay putting aside they didn't need the points for arguments sake that's why Gomes didn't play the rest of the side was still there strongest side. A top 4 side doesn't go from 0-2 up to 4-2 down in 45 minutes without a good reason and I was just trying to put across that reason was Gomes was missing and he is the reason they have been doing so well this season. They obviously went for it I mean they were 0-2 up at half time for christ sake! People are seeing blue here too much to see that facts and actually have a discussion.

Thats probably why Spurs got beat on Sunday.

I gather he didn't play...
Of course, the Scum being 3-0 won't have helped matters... but Alnwick's inability to keep goal over Gomes' heroics this season (and last) will have played a bigger part than what was going on at The New Library.

I am positive that it's just one small thing of a very long list of things that are beyond you.
I won though me, yeah I did.

Sad panda now.
Nobodys fault, but your annoying me now.

Just wanted to save Vhero's sanity this time around.
For me - and many Spurs fans like me - Gomes has been a massive part of our success. We broke a near 100 year record last season for goals conceded at home. King was instrumental, Dawson too and we can throw Assou-Ekotto (the most underrated player in our squad) and Charlie Corluka in that too.
But Gomes has been sensational.
Spurs fans don't like to shout about it. Truth be told, I'm terrified other clubs will realise he's not a joke and actually become interested.
He was heroic against City. Could hardly walk and came out after the game hobbling like a lunatic.
Would we have won at CoMS without Gomes? The answer for me is no.
Will that do ya Vhero? :)
Hope I don't get battered for being a Yid. I have a genuine like for City. And will be putting some hard earned money on them to do something special next season if Mancini spends wisely and Roman's millions doesn't blow everyone out of the water.
