Hardly any food, such that they are noticeably shorter than their Southern counterparts due to malnutrition. Electric rare. Massive military parades of course.

But absolutely no suggestion is allowed that life is any better anywhere else in the world, so how they would cover the WC (for the privileged few) must be a challenge for the NK TV producer (whilst avoiding a death camp).

Do you expect that anyone knows that there is a world cup on? As someone has already said, it will only be shown once edited showing the team as great victors.

If they cant edit it as such, the world cup just wont have happened, I doubt they had a photocall printed in the national press as they left for South Africa, so nobody is looking for the results

Yet for all their supposed backwardness they still manage to put together a decent team that played really well to qualify for the world cup.

I actually got to watch "Game of Their Lives" for a class I took at school. It's a move about North Korea at the 1966 World Cup. Was pretty good too.

Supposed? Do you work for the Great Leader?

Army mate. Any military state can knock together a few blokes to play football under pain of death!

Doubt he's gonna get a game then? wOULD BE FUNNY IF fIFA MADE THEM PLAY HIM.

Completely unjust, but funny none the less.

Sadly, they can replace any player with an emergency, so if a keeper gets injured they no doubt will get another keeper drafted in.

have you adopted them or do you just "have" them ? as caring for them etc..

We adopted them. We do have an extensive collection tho. The second was technically an internet purchase. Ok technically he was a waiting child we saw on a website, but still.

Cheers

Back in the 80,s many people bought cabbage patch kids...I dont know if they still do.

Big surprise, an American buying people again, old habits are hard to break.

But you know how touchy they get.

there is certainly a fad of white people adopting asian babies. Guilty as charged. it's been one of the most awesome things i could have imagined as well.

Adopting domestically in the States is potentially a lot more risky than INTL adoption, as birth parents have rights which can allow them, or some extended family member to basically petition the court for your child back. Not exactly a situation you want to be in when you decide to adopt. Thusly, loads of foreign kids get adopted. In truth tho, when you examine the treatment of children in Republic of Korea vs the US, or other nations which are popular to adopt from such as China, South America or Russia...Korea takes way better care of their kids, and you don't have to worry about unethical, shady bullshit or kids who've been mistreated like you will sometimes run into with those other countries...including the US. Korea has a really proud tradition of taking care of these babies. This boom in Korean children being adopted in the US started with war babies from the Korean war btw, and some ex-soldiers frustration at the lack of support for this lost generation of kids. Korea frowns upon single motherhood, and children out of wedlock or abortion in a pretty serious fashion thusly creating a fair amount of kids who need homes.

file that under too much information...smartass.

cheers
