Mate - Benitez leaves the Dippers for Inter. Benitez once tried to sign Torres. One idiot writes 2 and 2 = 37. Torres wouldn't leave Manchester because of his kids' school or something.
Touré could be today according to the ever-spouting agent, just need the signatures and one or two 'technical questions'.

Dzeko
Toure
Silva
Milner
Boateng (DONE)
I think these are the legit names we are going for to compliment the squad as these are the names which keep on recurring almost daily.
These names also would fit into the 150million budget being banded about too. Also the fact city haven't come out and quashed the bold statements from agents and clubs over bids/contracts says to me theres some truth in them imo.
But as usual, lets keep playing the waiting game for now!
Gotta say though i'm craving prem action, this world cup malarky just isn't cutting the mustard for me.

Same here mate i can't wait for the new season to start, If we do mannage to sign the players listed above it will be hard to stop us next season.

Still think there's another striker on the cards, especially as we're allegedly trying to offload Santa. Ibrahimovic is yer man.
City wont quash anything by the way. Best to just shut the fuck up (someone tell 'arry!)

I'll be delighted if this one happens. He'll be an absolute hit in the prem, city's essien, no doubts.

Basically says he's concentrating on IC's match against Brazil tomorrow and hasn't been able to undergo the City medical out there in SA.
City want to be sure because of his back problems which led to him having a discal hernia operation in May 2008.
Friend agent says if he wasn't at the world cup it would be all done by now. When the player was transferred from Monaco Seluk cede the 50% ownership of the player in exchange for 20% of any future fee - nice work if you can get it, and probably explains why Barca wanted a bit above rate for Yaya.
The good news for us is that the Barca fans wanted him to stay (70% of them), and so did Pep, but Seluk has made so much fuss and caused dicontent in the dressing room that Barca feel compelled to accept City's offer.
Looking forward to Seluk trying to pick our team then!

Would that be how worried we must have been for RSC's injuries ... laughable
