It's possible. Everything's possible in football. If we draw Juventus, I will not be all that sure you know.
And no, it'd be madness to sack manager before season has properly kicked off. Although I know few people who have been sharpening their knives since he was appointed.

There are alot of good sides and big names in the competition and to be arrogant enough to think that if we don't win it, then serious questions should be asked, is wide of the mark for me.
We got to the Quarter-Finals in 2008-09 and so I'm looking for us to at least reach there again. Importantly it will help the side grow in European Competition together as a unit, if we do well it will boost our European co-efficient points ranking, which in the long-run will determine which pot we will be in should we be in the European Cup/Champions Lge next season.
Hopefully we don't have the situation like 2 years ago, where the attendances for the home cup-ties in Europe were largely disappointing and the third tiers were closed except the Hamburg game.

exactly....fuck me I've been desperate to see shit like this most of my city supporting life
I could really not remotely comprehend the ambivalence the other year.....i loved those nights at Eastlands. They were only slightly spoilt by poor crowds....but it was still class
More city matches....chilly midweek nighttime kick offs....a few beers....wtf is not to like??
