1967-68 - Champions - No Cups
1968-69 - Poor Finish - 2 Cups
1969-70 - Poor Finish - 3 Cups

I believe it was Les Brown who said "Shoot for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." Thats why I want City to aim for the Premiership now and over the coming seasons we'll pick up these smaller glories along the way.

I set off to the ground without the usual butterflies or the pre-match nerves and when I got there complained to my mate about how selfish of the club to stay in the cup and drag me out of my pit on a cold, damp January evening. I think we won that one but let's face it, who cares?

Winning the Premiership had absolutely nothing to do with the Carling Cup, it had much more to do with the fact that they had bought all the best players and were playing the best football, they were going to win it anyway, just as City are going to in the near future.

Mate showed up with a case of canadian club and we made a hell of a dent in it.
