When you look at the talent available to both sides, the performance of both managers was a fucking disgrace imo. Pathetic, boring, drab, shite excuse for a derby. The pair of them should be ashamed of that but they won't be as they're a pair of big headed cunts.

I'd said this afternoon I'd take a point to avoid the grief and being 6 points behind, so in the cold light of day, yes I'd take it.
The performance however left a lot to be desired and what little credit there was from a diabolical game would have to go to the rags.

If we finish in 4th spot 1 point ahead of Spuds or whoever than how many will think it was ok to lose to United as long as we tried to boss the game and play attacking football. This point could be a big point come seasons end. Imho, well done City, well done Mancini.

I'm with you. Performance was bit of a disappointment but I'd much rather take a point than another fucking 3-4 heartbrake. You get no points for that despite what some people would have you to believe.
Fact is that they won three out of four contests last season and getting a point at this stage is a good result for me. But don't let me ruin your misery people. Main moaners are obviously in full flow.

Tonight we sat and allowed them to dictate the flow and pace of the game. We failed to try and win by gaining control of the game.
Therefore I am disappointed.

I will get over it in a day or two, but come on, it was the derby. You play it to win, for fuck's sake. I'm gonna keep moaning a bit more, since it makes me feel better venting a bit of frustration, and boy did I build up a lot of that last night!
And regarding the underlined part: I thought we set ourselves up perfectly for a 0-1 heart break with an injury time goal from Scholes. That would've been really hard to swallow after last night's performance.

I can only agree.
Plus it's very difficult to play against a very defensive-minded team that put 9 men behind the ball in their 20 metres every time we had the ball. Red-nose decided that the best way to come away with something against a team lead by an Italian was "catenaccio e contropiede".
Pleased that we are now 4 points clear and hoping that Mario's suspension end soon enough. This teams needs him
