Is it a must win tomorrow considering todays results?

Team P GD PTS

1 Chelsea 14 19 28
2 Man Utd 14 13 28
3 Arsenal 14 13 26
4 Bolton 14 6 22
5 Man City 13 5 22
6 Tottenham 14 2 22
7 Sunderland 13 2 19
8 Stoke 14 0 19

Liverpool playing West Ham soon, could be on 19 points and the chasing pack.

Ha ha ha, I'm wondering if Hughes and Mancio are of the same opinion?

And GG, I like the optimism, let's hope you are right. 18 from 18?

Why not? You only have to look at the fixtures from today to the newcastle game to see that we have the favourable fixtures and we are the only side that can win 18 from 18 as the teams around us play each other (obviously one team can also get 18 from 18 but i doubt that would happen)

I'm confident we will beat Fulham tommorrow and with Balotelli back for Stoke there is no reason why we cannot go on a great run.

40 points after 19 games (half way) would put us in a great position for the title going into the second half of the season, especially considering our strength in depth compared to the likes of Chelsea.

Stolen from the Beeb:

MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head

• Fulham are without a home win against Manchester City in four attempts since a 2-1 victory in November 2005 (D2, L2).

Half of the last 14 Premier League fixtures between them have ended in draws.

Fulham

Fulham have only earned one win in nine league games, drawing five.

• If they fail to score on Sunday it will be the first time since January they have gone three consecutive matches without a goal.

• Mark Hughes won 36, drew 16 and lost 25 of his 77 matches in charge of Manchester City from 2008 to 2009.

• Stephen Kelly is expected to make his 100th Premier League appearance.

Manchester City

• City have only managed one win in five league games.

• Roberto Mancini's side have kept seven clean sheets in the league this season, second only to Chelsea (eight) prior to the weekend.

• They have not scored in the second half of their last five league matches.

• City are the only side yet to score a headed Premier League goal this season. Their last top-flight header came from an unlikely source - Shaun Wright-Phillips against West Ham on the final day of last season.

LEADING GOALSCORERS

Fulham

Dempsey: 5 goals (4 league); Dembele: 3 goals (2 league)

Manchester City

Tevez: 7 goals (7 league); Adebayor: 5 goals (1 league)

MATCH OFFICIALS

Referee: Lee Mason

Assistant referees: Stuart Burt & Ron Ganfield

Fourth official: Andy D'Urso

Feels like it's got 'Draw' written all over it!

This is a pretty mad stat. I think it says a lot about the way we play at the moment.

It's time for our defenders to step up and contribute on the scoresheet.

I think Ade got one in the Europa didn't he? Seems very strange considering the size of some of our team, or is it the quality of the crosses?

I think we need to start with the midfield first. We can work on the defenders later.

He did indeed. I'm surprised we haven't at least bundled one in off a set piece. Though with the statue of our first choice frontmen and the style we play, I'd be very surprised if we got a headed goal from open play any time soon.

Carlos to stop it on the line, praying postion and then nod in. That'll sort it out.
