I hope so and that it isn't only for a few months. BUT the manager has to quickly work out how best to fit in the 3 excellent strikers we have in the squad. And it isn't necessarily by just sticking them all up there because they are good players and expecting goals to flow.

It was a nice goal, but I sincerely hope he doesn't form part of our future.

I hope he ticks along nicely and chips in with a few goals, so we can get a reasonable amount for him in the summer and find a player who gives a shit about the club and fans who pay his wages.

Balo's goal shows his talent, as did his ball through for tevez in the second half, but his general attitude is so infuriating. At times we didn't play the right ball to his, especially with fulham holding such a high line, but the stropping is ridiculous. At our house, he'd be on the naughty step for that

Love the man, i really do, great goal today but he was poor overall but today proved why we payed so much and why people rate him so much, up there with the likes of Messi and Ronaldo's in that he had a poor game where at times he looked awful but that one piece of magic nearly won us the game.

As time goes on and he gets used to this league, his team and matures he will be unreal.

I don't think we have ever had anyone like him, he gets a huge cheer before the game, then a huge groan when he does something stupid, his name sung and an even bigger cheer when he scores, then a huge groan when he gets announced as MOTM.

i think he's so intelligent i could see him as a playmaker. tevez seems hell bent on never passing to him and this isn't helping. want to see him stay cos i really like him. apart from the goal he was poor today, but then nothing and nobody clicked it was just one of those days, and hey WE DIDN'T LOSE!!!

I can understand why you cannot see it but all i can say is he does. He is probably the most frustrating player any team will ever have, don't forget he was hated by Inter fans despite having a record at 19 years old at a top club like Inter Milan that probably no one has ever had.

Put it this way, since he has come back from injury where his last game was a hat-trick to give him a record of 8 in 12, he should of had a definate penalty which he would of taken and more than likely have scored against Notts County, he hit the post against Aris and scored today, so say luck and good refereeing was on his side, he would now have a record of 11 in 15 games and 6 in his last 4 games and he has been overall poor since coming back. That is the sign of a class player, not a lucky one.

Whether he makes it as a great player is all down to his attitude and his mental state and only he can change that. The ability alone is already enough to call him a great player.

Having great ability is far from being a great player. Weiss could be said to have great ability.

There is no doubting his scoring and he must have the talent as most of the top clubs round Europe were after him in the summer but I'm still not convinced but then what the fuck do I know , i stuck by Lee bradbury week after painful week thinking he would come good! I just hope , soon, it clicks and we see him on par with tevez for work rate and goals , which according to the hype ,potentially he has.

After watching the game again on tv the movement of the players today,Mario included was mostly awful.There just seemed no desire and certainly no understanding amongst the front 3 for so much of the game. Pure talent will get you so far but there has to be a lot more to be a consistently good player or team.

As for Mario, I think the thing that impressed me the most, between the diving and grumpiness was his willingness to comeback and help out. From what I have seen he is dangerous in a defensive role because he seems to foul too often.

And he was the one with Duff on the left when the ball broke down the right.Duff moved Mario didn't. Not really his fault though I suppose with Kolarov skinned as he was.

Exactly, great goal and great pass that should have been a goal. Sure he can drift out of games, but he also can win them in a flash. If we want to be one of the best in the world, we build him into the team and keep him.
