As much as I love and respect you mate, I think that you are a little off beam with this tiredness thing and I think that you and others are not fully understandiong what mancini is saying.
There is a level of performance that Mancini wants to achieve. Every time we paly so many games in quick succession, that level lowers a bit. The body need time to recover in order to get it fully fit to be able to acheive that top level. What Mancini is saying is that with so many games being played by the same players (mainly because of injuries) and the fact that that schedule has gone on for as long as it has, that top level of performance is becoming harder to achieve.
It doesnt mean that City players are out on their feet, it doesn't mean that City players can't play games, it means that at the very highest level, there is a shortfall between what they can achieve and what they are able to acheive.
Like us, Mancini wants to see City at the very top of their game.
I agree with what you say John but, two things :
1) All successful teams have players who play often enough to feel a drop off in potential performance - it's no different for us.
2) There is a psychological effect that Mancini could be having on our players here ...... i.e. If he keeps mentioning it they will start feeling it even more.
To paraphrase Basil Fawlty ......
"Don't mention the fatigue. I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it."
