Was I watching the same game?
The game I saw had Spurs in a backs to the wall battle to save themselves being overrun. Mostly chasing shadows and on their own middin too.
If that had been City, it would have been a shameful display by City, who just and luckily managed to scrape through.

Pato who looked very good in the build up play and was probably closest to scoring with that one into the side netting. And then there was Ibrahimovic who for me ,yet again, looked a joke.I thought a top player playing well up top for Milan and they might well have won but he was so insignificant it was hard to believe.I think I would rather have Jo.

Mancini, though, only has himself to blame with replays. He almost seems to want the bloody things going by team selections!

Maybe so but Tottenham going through benefits us, I mean the longer their minds are on the champs league (a cup realistically they won't win) and off their league matches the better it is for us.

I wonder if there was any truth in the tales of us being genuinely interested in him? I was saying at the time that I could imagine him being either a Rodney Marsh style, eccentric, fans' hero or alternatively a nightmare that costs Bob his job. Looking at his performance v Spurs it's a bloody good job we didn't buy him.
