Not sure about the copyright but if we were to chuck away a longheld tradition just to safeguard a couple of bob, I would be horrified. have we become that mercenary/
I'm sure the club would make enough from club shop sales of a final shirt to more than make up for that.

We are the only football club in manchester that has the right to wear that crest. The rags have worn it at finals but have had to ask for permission from the City council.

I would of thought that it would be much more lucrative for the club to release a commemorative strip with the Manchester coat of arms on? I'd buy one at the drop of a hat.

"Khaldoon has often spoken of his commitment to both the academy, and to understanding the proud heritage of the club and its fans." (MCFC.co.uk, Corporate Info). I'd task our Chairman to prove this statement and show that this club hasn't forgotten our history of which I'm fiercely proud!

Typical, the one time I actually wanted them to change the kit. This is one of the biggest games in my living memory, I was looking forward to getting a top with the coat of arms on it

I think what John meant was that due to this alleged copyright the club wouldn't be allowed to sell said shirts.

If true, the players' shirts could still spot the Coat of Arms, regardless of that other shirt in the shop.

But we sell shirts with the Coat of Arms on already?

Too bad I can't get one direct from the club store. Have to use World Soccer Store for anything!

About a month ago there was a limited edition Home shirt on sale in the club shop, this could possibly be the shirt to be worn for the final????

You know the new kit (as in next seasons) has the soundwaves of bluemoon printed on the shirt, it's faint but it's meant to be the soundwaves of bluemoon. Bit random eh!

Vagner Love told me the same thing about the waves when I bumped into him in the Arndale. It seems nobody told him the shop is now on Market Street, probably another one of Cookie's cock-ups

For the semi the rags had the COA of arms on their club suits,we had our crest.
WTF City get it sorted.

I'm hoping they will pull a suprise and the first team will wear it at Wembley.

Kitbag and Umbro visited the ground about 2/3 weeks ago to show off the new designs. It will also have a white V-Neck. Away kit will be red and black with a bit of white - a little bit like the kit from 1995.

you spoil it when you pull back the wizard's curtain. I was hoping Mark had some romantical fascinating story involving a dwarf, a bag of money, and a black pimp and his hookers, but no...you go and unleash "cuz they showed them to some people that Mark knows" instead. thanks.

Ah, that's not where I got it from.

I never know if the stuff I find out is common knowledge or not.

Also, you know like when you want to bet on a manager leaving or signing or whatever, who do you do that with? I've tried my usual bookies an noone wants a peice of it. I've got loads of stuff, one of which is not city related an I really wanna drop a few quid on it.
