Do you know, I've been feeling the same myself. We decided not to attend because we couldn't get tickets for the kids (group thing and all that) as it just wouldn't feel right. Over the last week I've been thinking that I've been a tool and should've been a selfish twat and fooked em off, but now, after sitting with the lads for a few hours, it's made me realise that our decision was 100% right.
From Day 1 my City experience has always been about family, going with my old man, with my brother, with my mates, and now is no exception. If I'd/we'd gone without those that we have around us, then I'm fairly certain that it'd've been an empty day, regardless of the result, and with us having the chance to have many other opportunities to get there on loyalty alone, I'm sure it won't be long until those 3000 points turn into the dream we have all been waiting for.
I suppose you could say it's just a family thing.
This is City, this is Life ;-)
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".
