Plus it won't allow this wonderful thread to die

Ted Hughes wrote:Pozzo has also not ruled out the possibility that Sánchez, who is valued at £45m, could remain at Udinese for a further season.
"He said it yesterday and we have reiterated it in the past. It is an option."
There's the key imo: "Perhaps I'll stay at Udinese for another year" In other words "Barca have been on at me to tell City I won't go there, well now I have done, so you either sell me to Barca or forget it"

Its still brewing.

I hope so.
After the big money which has been spent on some of the dross we've had/got it would be fucking ridiculous to miss out on the real deal for the sake of a couple of million quid.

That's what I've been wondering. Never thought he was out of this world type of talent the times I've seen him in Italy. But Barcelona, Real, us, Chelsea and rags supposedly in tug of war over his signature, you'd think there must be something special there. All I see is neat, relatively pacy player with alright touch. But for the price on his head you'd expect to see someone like Tranaldo or Messi or Tevez.

i suppose it's a mixture of crazy market, and people who know exactly what they're looking for in a player BEFORE he costs £60m+ i mean he is still quite young isn't he? i know messi is but he's a freak of nature, ronaldo looked far from world class when united first signed him...

You've got to be joking mate, I was rather impressed by his touches and hard work and suprised by him falling deep sometimes.

Hold on. Did you just go and edit the whole game and pick every touch Sanchez made on the ball? Wow. That is committed. Are you his agent?
And no, after watching half of that to refresh my memory, I'm still not that impressed. For those who didn't see the game, it was their gameplan that everything goes through Sanchez, and so considering I didn't see him do anything that would make me go "wow, this guy is good" I wasn't impressed. And by impressed I mean 40 million pounds impressed.
Like I said, if you read this topic, I think he is neat player with nice touch and bit of pace as well. I never said he is shite. But for the money talked about you want world ELITE player. And for me, at this stage, he doesn't look like one. But like me and Ted both agreed, there must be something there that we miss because all these big teams are after him.
I'm still shocked that you'd go through trouble of editing the whole game for a youtube clip of Alexis Sanchez.
