I am with Ted on this, it was Mancini's first week, I know he had to come in and stamp his authority but to the detrement of one of his better players? That was just plain stupid in anyones book, I dont care who you are.
Or maybe Mancini is just a good (and quick) judge of who is going to cause him problems?
Bellamy, Adebayor, Tevez .........
Two shipped out, one wants to leave - and all three of them royal pains in the arse.
EDIT:
I forgot to mention Robinho ....
Mancini needs to be able to handle these types of characters, not just ship them out.
Mancini does handle them...by shipping them out. All managers ship out players they don't fancy or who upset the team dynamic or whatever the reason. Some of the reasons may be spurious or seem spurious from the outside and sometimes the manager may get it wrong ala ferguson and Stam.
I don't buy the shit Bellamy is selling. I don't buy the fact he pined like a moody schoolgirl when Hughes was axed and I don't buy the fact that Mancini crippled him in his first week, made him train on one leg and that Mancini never talked to him from then on.
Other people think Bellamy is telling the truth and support his position. I think Bellamy is a lying sack of shit and all this is designed to create as much trouble as possible to get his valuation reduced for a quick move and/or his wages subsidised in return for not making trouble. Its a matter of opinion and people will believe what they want or not as the case may be.
