You don't have an 18 year career without being extremely dedicated to your job (including diet, exercise, and mentality).
Like I said, at least Ray Parlour and Martin Keown both have said it. I don't know what he islike in the training and neither do you. We'll only have to rely on what his teammates have said. And for the last 4 or 5 years have was in quite a poor shape really. And he is only 34, it's not like he kept going until 40. And last time he played more than 20 league games in a season was 2005.
