And the rest. Need to sell Jo, Bellamy, Adebayor, Santa Cruz, Bridge. Given will go aswell.

Boateng always looked a good player for Germany but never convinced for us, partly due to injuries I would suspect.

Makes sense with Toure's ban being a short one, he'll be back soon so it'll be hard to fit another centre half into the squad limit. We have Savic anyway for the future.

True but I've a nasty feeling we're gonna end up with 1 or 2 unwanted players, left out of our 25 and sat in the stands until January when we'll probably accept just about anything for them

I think he saw the money, liked the league and thought he'd walk into our team.

When he didn't, he sulked like fook and jumped at the first chance to move back to Germany.

Not quite a mercenary, just naive.

I don't think that's entirely fair. Young German internationals have a strong pull towards Germany, especially when they're trying to build their international careers. German clubs like having German players, just like the way there's a premium on English players in England. We're one of the few clubs with a tradition of signing them.

Bayern really wanted Boateng, they were going all out for him. It's hard to compete when he hadn't broken into the starting team here and had had a mixed experience. He'll be an integral part of the biggest club in Germany as opposed to being the raw young 4th choice centre half with us. It's a great move for him, and it's great for Bayern to be luring a big name home, it's okay for us. Just like selling Corluka, okay price, not a loss or anything but the buying club were happier than we were.

Price is colporated here between 13.5 and 17 Mill.€, according to different newsagencys.....

First statement of Boateng was the usual one " Bayern is a big club, I´m glad to be back in germany and so on...."

Bit of a vague and half-arsed statement, but I suppose it's better than wheeling out all the clichés.

One less sick note to worry about.

His city career never really took off did it?

No qualms about him moving on at all, good luck to him.

Weird how he's agreed terms so quick seen as though he is on the latest video on the official site from the training camp in America.

Be as it may, there was no need for that.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Glad we got more money for him than we paid. Disappointed that he turned out to be such a cunt with his comments.
