sounds like we have called bullshit on some wacky payment terms and maybe added a sell-on clause.
i don't believe these jokers can get a deal done that's actually "real"...and not some bullshit "layaway" plan for Tevez..paid in installments over years with no sell-on and nothing up front, etc.
flash forward 3 days from now with Cookie telling the media that Corinthians "bottled it"
cheers
This...
I don't really believe that they can achieve this deal, but if they do, that's fine, we need to become a team, committed to the cause. Last year Carlos delivered so much all by himself, thank you. This year we need to destroy teams throughout the pitch - it's an opportunity for the men to stand up and get rid of the whinging spoilt brats

Forget all the stupid remarks, temper tantrums, moods, media circus etc etc. On the pitch he always gives 100% and lets be honest its on the pitch why we watch/go to the game, anything off it is an irrelevant sideshow for most supporters. I still think he'll go mind

And, as a result, his £40m move to Brazilian club Corinthians is on the brink of collapse.
City are understood to want a clause in the deal that prevents Tevez moving back to Europe in the next two years – plus a cut of any fee if he moves after that period has expired.
The FA Cup winners are also refusing to pay up the signing-on fees due on the remaining three years of Tevez’s five-season contract because he asked for a move.
Corinthians and Tevez have just 24 hours to agree to the clauses before the transfer window in Brazil closes. City accept the Argentina international wants to return to South America to live with his wife and two young daughters.
But they want to guard against Tevez and agent Kia Joorabchian engineering a move back to Europe in the next two years at a higher price than they have agreed with Corinthians.
Even if Tevez agrees to the clauses, the deal is still some way from being agreed, with Corinthians responding angrily to City manager Roberto Mancini’s claim that a fee had been finalised.
They said: “President Andres Sanchez would like to clarify to the public that Manchester City did not accept the Corinthians offer for the player.
“The truth is that the club sent Corinthians a counter-proposal in the early hours, that due to the time difference was only noticed by the club this morning.
“In the counter-proposal the English club have asked for changes in the form of payment and on the value of the transfer.
“In addition, Manchester City has also insisted that Tevez would have to give up a pending amount with the English club.
“For the time being there does not exist anything concrete for Tevez and the counter-proposal will be analysed by him and his management.”
City deny they have changed the transfer value, and the ball is very much in Tevez’s court.
