How do they know this? If my memory is correct he has only played one game for us in the FA CUP where his only fault that day was that he wasnt Shay Given.
Fans will just have to accept its almost impossible to have two expierenced Premiership standard keepers on our books. i cant remember any club having a better combo than we had last year and that was only ever going to last a season.
Who would be better for the number 2 slot than Taylor who seems more than happy to be a back up option?
I thought Karius was on tour Doug? (Taylor looked shocking the other night -Douglas Higginbottom wrote:No doubt it was Karius last night and no doubt he wasnt great either. From all that I have seen I would say Erik Johansen is the most likely to succedd but he is still very young and I woudlnt say he is ready to be number 2 yet. Stu Taylor is still the best bet for that role of the ones we have.

Stuart Taylor: 86 matches and counting.
"I notice Stuart Taylor, of Arsenal/Villa/Manchester City reserve keeper fame, has played a grand total of 86 matches in 14 years,"
