Please tell me that was a mid-stream comment and not tomorrows headline?

the daily mail article also complains about city's mostly foreign team causing unemployment in cheshire, decreasing house prices in manchester and causing cancer in cocker spaniels. and spreading aids. bad aids.
Over the course of the subsequent decades they ceased even to be regarded as contenders. Although the squad itself has been upgraded so extravagantly, this is still a step into the unknown for many. City have to school themselves in living with the realisation that any opponents will raise their game against them and show a most unusual appetite. Dealing with that environment is a way of life for many clubs but City are coming into that category belatedly.
The encouragement for him (Mancini) lies in the fact that the character and style of play being instilled look natural to his line-up. It was essential to the aspiration that such a process should take place but the speed at which City are turning into sprightly crowd-pleasers is an agreeable surprise.

Will u find a reason to believe we're not paronoid when it comes to general media though pal?

Ive explained it badly. It was part of their live updates of the game and definitely existed.

I'm fighting a loosing battle.
Perhaps I should believe these headlines that we've not been linked to exist? Or that I read all those made up stories praising other teams?
But for the meantime I'll just continue enjoying decent reports/ views/ posdcasts and let everyone else worry about the invisible stories against us from the gutter press. : )

I'm forever the optimist and try to see the good in everything, but even I see what certain chains have some kind of agenda.
I'll put it down to you wanting to go against the grain on this one.

Why? Why not put it down to someone having a different opinion than your own?
Let's get this straight - I absolutely believe journos are out to get us. But I believe their only interest is selling papers. If a negative story about a club is gonna sell then it will be printed. The stature of that club will obviously add sales to the story - an article about Fulham isn't going to attract the same attention as the multi billion, high wage paying, mercenaries et...
The issue I have is 1) fans seem to think we're picked on for something other than flogging wares and 2) how they're surprised every single week when this happens. People then make mountains out of molehills - are you honestly telling me that a small comment like the one by the OP is worthy of discussion?
There are plenty of good football outlets about. If you look towards The Sun and The Stars you're not going to find them.
