He seems to be working hard and hopefully someone gives him a go. He was a super player at Bayern and was great in a CL final.

yknow...available on a free...why wouldn't a lot of PL clubs take a punt on this guy? i can't imagine that half of the league wouldn't be better with him if he is actually fit.
surely his physical issues over the last few seasons would put off the top clubs, but you'd figure the Newcastles, Sunderlands, Evertons and Villas of the world should have him in for a workout and see if he can do a job. i would have him in to have a peek at him if i were running those clubs. we've got better and don't need the risk, but at the risk of sounding arrogant, most don't tbh.

Well if he was fit he'd be a tidy replacement for Vieira on a one year or pay as you play deal deal, not like it'd be a risk for us financially.
Plus if he came good the rags would be fuming.
