But we're going to be a 24 man squad if we don't add Owen Hargreaves. We are not going so sign anyone else today and there are no other senior players (ie. Bellamy, Onuoha etc) who will be in that spot. I assume also that 24 includes SWP....who may not be there so we may actually be 23.

None of the prospects such as Suarez, Assulin, Razak, Roman would be included in the 25 man count if we wanted to use them so there is absolutely zero downside in terms of numbers.

If Joe doesn't qualify it doesn't matter as, if your keeper gets injured seriously (enough to be out for 30 days Ithink it is) you can replace him. You can then, if you want, stick him back in when he's fit.

If it means what I think it means then as far as senior players go, Ned & SWP could have gone in there but out of the others, all of those in the EDS barring the new boys would be eligible for the 'B' list, so qualify anyway. Presumably if we don't use Ned & dump SWP, we'll just leave the two spaces empty.
