It's becoming a bit of a joke now isn't it? It's only a matter of time before he gets booked, and then he'll be walking a tight line if he's up against a nippy left winger.

Also I do not get why people are telling me that Downing has much better figures than Johnson because he has played a lot more minutes.
From my calculations(they may be wrong, one of you clever people can put me right if I am wrong) Downing has done about 110% more mins than AJ.
For example if one adds 110% to Johnsons shots that takes him upto 57,Downing has 62.
If one does it for the crosses Johnson has 227,Downing 324
The passes tell this story Johnson 1558.Downing 1874.
There are a few measurments such as goals which go inJohnsons favour following that system but on the whole Downing still has better figures.
Can one of the people who know let me know why it is so.
This is all a bit hypothetical I suppose because the fact is Johnson was not picked people like SWP ,Zabba and Milner fought him for his place and on many occasions won.Johnson did not do the mins and therefore has not got the stats.

Is this bloke the stupidest fucker on the internet or what ?

Yes it is and yes it is. And there is zero chance of it succeeding and him getting us a penalty.

Ok, if you genuinely don't understand it, I'm sorry for calling you stupid.
Those stats just show that Downing played more. They don't tell us he was better.
If you play more games, you will have more passes/crosses etc when they're all added up. The stats which would be used to compare the players would be how many crosses/passes goals etc are scored on average, per game, not in total.
If Tevez scored 30 goals last season but doesn't play this season & Aguero gets 20 goals compared to Tevez' 0, it doesn't automatically mean that Aguero is now better at scoring goals than Tevez. It just means that you can't use current stats to compare them. Similarly, if Downing plays more games than AJ & scores more goals, it doesn't mean he is a better player as AJ may have scored the same, or more goals, if he played the same number of games.
Stats in general are only a help in making comparisons though, they don't give the full tale. We know that david Silva was better than Downing or AJ but his stats don't tell us that. There are lots of things which players do to change a game which it's difficult to write a stat for. For example if Silva beats 3 men passes it to AJ, who taps it 3 yards for Tevez to score; AJ gets the stat for the assist, not Silva, even though he's done next to nothing & Silva created the goal.
Stats are an indicator, not the be all and end all. They have to be used alongside many other judgements, including just watching the game.

He collided with Given and went off with a bad head, nothing serious though I don't think.
