Not after Princess knocking in a hatrick.

Green & Blue wrote:Really happy with Edin hes a goal machine a proper poacher, every top team needs a player like that.
Hes just a better version of your typical poacher he has the abilty to score fantastic goals at times.Hes also not a striker always looking out for himself he will look to find a player in a better position.I really like that about him hes a team player.

I know you are bullshit wum and everything you've ever written on this site has been horrible but that was actually unintentionally funny. Bendtner....well done.

Not the player you would put your life on to finish a 1v1 but by the end of the season he will have scored a bucketful; some world class, some scuffed. He will also miss quite a few sitters, probably more than Mario & Aguero, but he will also pull some incredible match winners out of the bag. imo, so long as he plays his part for the team, & grafts he's a great player. When he starts to stroll, he's useless. It's about attitude.
I thought his finish yesterday was sublime. It was a very missable or saveable chance had he got it slightly wrong. It was a perfect finish.

Sublime? Come on, it was an open net.

He had time to think about it, which for many strikers is something they don't really want. I think he did well.

Exactly.
Some would say penalties are harder to score than goals from open play.
Not me though.

I think it depends who you are and what your character is like. Again, time to think disturbs some players and with penalties you do get time to think. An example. In all England's penalty shoot-outs you never once saw paul ince step forward to take one. Funny that. Self-styled hardman with bollocks like petits pois. What a wanker.
Dzeko seemed a bit weak in that department last season but he put that SIXTH goal away against the filth very nicely, thank you. And yesterday's. All good positive stuff.
Original Dub wrote:Well that's true. High pressure penalties take balls.
However, the big difference between your average penalty situation and scoring from open play is the art of perfect positioning, which is the biggest factor for all poachers and is already laid out for you in a penalty.
I'd say there's good chance I could score against a top keeper from a penalty. I'd say there's little or no chance I'd score from open play in a premier league match!
