I recon they may go for the 'specialist training' angle. He has his favourite geezer over there who can get him fit quicker etc, then they try to dodge the fine by saying it was because of his keeness to play for City that he sought specialist help.
My question is; why, if he's away for a week, is he not committing a breach of contract every day he's not available for training ? Surely it's not one offence, it's a seperate offence every morning ?

Nah, this is now a point of principal, letting him go on the cheap effectively means Tevez gets what he wants again. I think the the owners bent over backwards to accomodate his wishes in the past now it's hardball time. I hope we sue him tbh
Dameerto wrote:That's what gets me - I read people like Karen Brady saying in her column that we went soft over Tevez but it's just not true, we went for the throat (pun intended) - we had to take the legal route because of it being a multi million pound decision though, and there were just too many loopholes for the little shit to squirm through. I don't think it's over for the Sheikh since it became personal when Tevez basically insulted him (after all the indulgences etc)

haha but I think not. Was thinking I might pop down tomorrow for some exercise and see who is about. Maybe Owen working fully and CT if he is around.

Oh, so now he thinks he might of made a mistake in backing Tevez. Good, Tevez shits on any one that helps him and people need to realise that,

Only if we have the balls to do what needs to be done.
If all we do is fine him a bit then transfer him, he has set a precedent for any player to get out of any contract.

I do not think we need to transfer him since the contract will be voided. I just hope FIFA impose a suspension on top of it for a couple of years.
