For hughes, a man who was being chased by all and sundry before we snapped him up, is settling at QPR. He's a small team manager, same as warnock, just with more wanton abandon for defense.

We don't really have the moral high ground, but agree the press should go to town on this, bet Hughes was at the last QPR match ;)

according to the radio this morning hes asked for at least 30 million to reinvest. they must be mulling it over,he was actually interviewed coming away from initial talks never heard of that before, they usually keep it quiet till the deal is done.

Oh, I don't know mate. I'm sure that Mittal still owns a fair share in the club (about a 3rd) and is one of the richest blokes in the world. If he decides to invest then Hughes won't be going cap in hand to get signings.

That maybe so and maybe I'm just missing it, but I've not seen too many reports saying QPR will spend big. I'm sure they'll spend decent, but to break past the current top 6 anytime soon they'd need a huge injection of cash.

Yes. I make it less than 24 hours between Warnock being sacked and talks starting.
I wonder if Oliver Holt will still be going on about this two years from now.
Also, isn't Joorabchian banned from acting as an Agent?? I know he's made a mockery out of that ban by acting behind the scenes but he was speaking publicly yesterday about Hughes as he has been on Tevez.
